Jess Learmonth

Jess enjoyed her best ever season as an elite triathlete, never once finishing outside the top ten in the ITU World Series and cementing her number 2 world ranking. Controversially disqualified in Tokyo when she crossed the finish line hand-in-hand with Team GB colleague Georgia Taylor-Brown, she also claimed a second-place finish in Bermuda and third-place finishes in Leeds and Montreal. However, her greatest achievement of the year was a silver medal at the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in Lausanne. Having only taken up the sport at the age of 24, Jess is clearly determined to make up for lost time and that will continue into a vital Olympic year.
