Our city’s relentless production line of elite triathletes shows no sign of slowing down and Sam Dickinson is the latest to make his mark. Originally from York, Sam now lives in Leeds where he’s part of the Triathlon Centre, combining training with his studies at the University of Leeds. He may have been a latecomer to triathlon, but just two years after his competitive debut he was British junior champion and topped the table at the British Triathlon Super Series in 2015. In 2016 he won silver at the ETU European Championships, and represented GB at the ITU World Championships. In 2018 he announced himself in style at international level, taking silver in the U23 elite race at the ITU World Championships on the Gold Coast.
