Adil Rashid

It was a memorable year for the Bradford-born leg spinner as he regained his place in England’s Test team while cementing his reputation as one of the most dangerous white ball bowlers in the world. After appearing in every one of England’s one day matches against India and Australia, the Yorkshire player was called up to the Test squad for the series against India where his 10 wickets were the most by an English leg spinner in a home series since 1959. The 30-year old continued his excellent form in Sri Lanka with four wickets from just five overs in the third ODI and he will be a vital part of England’s team when the ICC Cricket World Cup arrives on home soil in 2019.
