Pablo Hernandez

Since joining Leeds United in August 2016, the exciting Spanish midfielder has become a firm favourite with fans and teammates alike. With nine goals and eight assists in the 2017-18 season it was no surprise when Hernandez was named both Player of the Year and Players Player of the Year at the club’s end of season awards, and the Spanish international celebrated by signing a new two-year deal in April. Under Marcelo Bielsa, Hernandez started where he left off with three goals and two assists in the first five games of the new season, earning the Championship Player of the Month award for August. With Bielsa hailing him as “a complete player from every point of view” he will be a vital part of the Whites’ promotion push this season.
