Matty Lee continued to justify his reputation as one of the country’s most exciting young divers with another medal-laden year. The City of Leeds diver qualified for his second World Championships at the British Diving Championships in Edinburgh by winning the 10m Platform. And although he reached the final of the individual competition in Budapest it was in the 10m Mixed Synchro that he really impressed as he and partner Lois Toulson won silver in their first event together on the world stage. The duo were already European champions after winning gold in Kiev in June, with Matty also picking up a bronze in the 10m Platform. As the countdown to Tokyo 2020 continues, Matty is undoubtedly one to watch.
