Marcelo Bielsa

The former Argentina and Chile boss’ decision to join the Championship side in the summer of 2018 raised more than a few eyebrows across the football world. Poaching his services was a huge coup for Leeds United and it wasn’t long before Bielsa was comprehensively shaking things up. As well as introducing longer, heavier training sessions he also sent players around Thorp Arch picking up litter for three hours, so they could appreciate how hard the average fan had to work to purchase a ticket. With many players enjoying a new lease of life under their charismatic manager and the dynamic attacking football thrilling sold out crowds at Elland Road there is renewed optimism that Leeds have finally found the man to take them back to the promised land.
