Laura Weightman

Originally from Northumberland, Laura graduated with a Sport and Exercise Science degree from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2013 and currently lives in Leeds where she trains full-time. After bronze medals in 2018 at both the Commonwealth Games (5000m) and European Championships (1500m), Laura proved she’s one of our most versatile middle-distance runners with third at the British Athletics Championships and seventh at the World Athletic Championships in the 5,000m. After running a personal best of 4:20.49 for the mile in 2018, she improved to 4:17.60 in 2019, a time that moved her into the all-time top 25 in the world. 2020 promises to be a big year for this fast-improving athlete.
