Kadeena Cox MBE

In 2016 Kadeena Cox became the first British athlete in 32 years to win golds in two sports at the same Olympic Games. Returning from a well-earned break following a serious knee injury in 2017, Kadeena’s bid to repeat her extraordinary feat next year in Tokyo got off to a flying start. In the velodrome she won gold in the 500m time trial by more than two seconds at the Para-cycling Track World Championships in March. While on the track she easily qualified for November’s Dubai 2019 World Para Athletics Championships after running a season’s best 62.97s in the T37/38 400m in Paris. Next stop Tokyo!
