Originally from Manchester, Georgia moved to Leeds in 2012 to study for a degree in Sports and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University combining her studies with training at the Leeds Triathlon Centre. As a member of the UK Sport Lottery Funded World-Class Performance Squad she is now a full-time athlete. Georgia showed tremendous potential as a junior, winning European and World medals in both triathlon and athletics. After suffering a long period of injury between 2014 and 2016 she bounced back strongly, achieving excellent results at U23 level in the second half of 2016. 2018 was a break-through year at elite level with her first ITU World Triathlon Series podium at the AJ Bell World Triathlon Leeds in June followed by another outstanding podium finish in Edmonton.
