As Director of Performance Gymnastics, Dave Murray is one of the driving forces behind the outstanding success of Leeds Gymnastics Club. He is also personal coach to Team GB star Nile Wilson who put in an outstanding performance at the 2017 World Championships despite having a significant injury earlier in the year. Wilson is now GB’s main hope for the all-round finals in Tokyo 2020, something reflected in Murray’s selection as one of the GB coaches at the Worlds in Montreal. Closer to home, the Leeds club has had their most successful year ever in terms of Men’s performance including winning the Adams Shield (Club National Champs) in the Junior and Senior categories. The National Elite Performance Squad now has 9 boys from Leeds, more than any other club.
