Alicia Blagg

2018 started well for the 22-year old from Wakefield and just got better and better. In January the City of Leeds diver dominated the women’s 3m Springboard competition at the British Diving Championships before going on to take silver alongside partner Katherine Torrance in the 3m Synchro at the Commonwealth Games. But it was at the European Championships in Glasgow that Blagg really made her mark, missing out on gold by the narrowest of margins to take her first ever senior international medal in an individual discipline. Now based in Florida where she combines training with her studies at the University of Miami, Alicia will be looking to continue her excellent form at the World Championships as she bids to become one of the youngest ever athletes to represent Team GB at three consecutive Olympic Games.
