Adam Duggleby MBE

Adam was another athlete who enjoyed the home comforts of Harrogate in September. The 35-year old from Beverley piloted blind cyclist Steve Bate to a win in the MB category at the Para-Cycling International and was quick to pay tribute to the enthusiastic crowds who came out to support them. The pair also finished with a silver medal as they couldn’t quite defend their tandem time trial title at the UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships earlier in the same month. They’ll be hoping to go one better in 2020 as they defend the two gold medals they brought home from Rio in 2016.
