Adam Duggleby MBE

As part of the Great Britain Cycling Team, Leeds-based Adam is the sighted pilot to visually impaired cyclist Steve Bate. As reigning double Olympic champions, 2018 was all about adding World Championship gold to their impressive medal collection and inspired by their return to Rio for the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships the pair certainly didn’t disappoint. In Brazil the duo won gold in the individual pursuit on the track before moving on to Europe for the road racing season. They started well, winning silver in the time trial at the opening round of the world cup in Ostend, before going one better at the UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships, winning gold by less than a second in a dramatic time trial in Italy.
